The AQ2+ Discrete Analyzer has been developed to meet the specific need for a modern, highly automated, flexible analyzer in the environmental laboratory. The AQ2+ is the instrument of preference for laboratories that require high levels of automation, a wide range of chemistries, limits of detection that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the advantages of integration with LIMS systems.
We have individual NPDES and NPDWR USEPA Letters of Approval !
Summary of AQ2+ Benefits:
* Fast start-up - analysis on demand * Rapid analysis - results available in minutes * Automated chemistry test selection per sample - select only those tests required per sample * Start and leave - walk away operation * Automated standards preparation from a stock standard * Automated dilution - user defined and off scale samples * No carry-over or cross-contamination * Fully automated method changeover and shutdown * Low reagent consumption - typically 50-150 uL per test
The AQUA900 represents the culmination of over 20 years of research and development in the field of high throughput discrete analysers for nutrients determination in the water, environmental & industrial sectors of the UK.
The unit has evolved as the replacement for the market-leading AQUA800 and incorporates many enhancements.
Features include:
* Up to 800 tests per hour * Latest generation AQ Series Software package * Enhanced monochrometer * Simple reaction vial ejection system * Reagent storage area * Reagent refrigeration compartment * Platen area with self-alignment * Reaction Vials recycling service * Low heat output – low power consumption * Minimal operator maintenance time
The AutoAnalyzer 3 is a fully automated analyzing system for nutrients in environmental waters and many other applications. The system is a continuous segmented flow analyzer and consists of sampler, pump, chemistry test module, and photometer with application software running under Windows XP.
Building on the success of the Technicon AutoAnalyzer II and maintaining its reputation for high quality, every part of the AutoAnalyzer 3 incorporates improvements enabled by modern technology to bring higher performance and lower costs to routine analysis. The new modules are compatible with existing AutoAnalyzer systems for easy upgrading.
The AutoAnalyzer 3 uses all the advantages of air-segmented flow. Long reaction times and complex procedures like distillation can be automated. Options such as dialyzers eliminate interference from dirty or coloured samples. The UV digestion procedures conform to the ISO standard methods for automated total cyanide and phosphorus.
Advantages:
* Ultra-low detection limits * 40 -100 samples per hour * Many Multi-test manifolds available * Over 1000 applications * Low reagent consumption * Compatible with all AutoAnalyzer II systems * Quick method change-over * Many officially-approved methods * Wide range dilution is rarely necessary
The QuAAtro is an intergrated microflow system designed to reduce detection limits and ensure reliable unattended operation.
Up to four methods can run at the same time on one console, and there is a special 5-channel version for nutrients in seawater. Two consoles can be combined to give an 8-channel system. The modular architecture allows easy expansion and adaptation.
QuAAtro uses microflow hydraulics, which enables higher sampling rates with lower reagent consumption. It is ideal for laboratories with large numbers of relatively clean samples. QuAAtro's high speed and multi-channel design mean that 1000 results per day can be generated with ease on a typical system.
SYSTEM FEATURES:
* High speed – sampling rate typically 1.5 - 2 times higher than a macroflow system. * Low reagent consumption – per sample, typically one half to one quarter of a macroflow system. * High reproducibility – about 0.4% RSD for most methods. * Low detection limits e.g. 0.1 ug/L P in seawater.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE WITH A HIGHER LEVEL OF AUTOMATION
The SEAL Analytical BD50 Block Digestion System was specifically designed for the digestion of large numbers of samples prior to analysis. The microprocessor controls the rate of heating, temperature and time of digestions. It is comprised of a 50 position block accommodating either 75 mL or 100 mL glass tubes, the programmable controller, tube rack, cooling stand and one set of digestion tubes. The block gently heats the samples to the required temperature and holds the samples at that temperature for a programmed period of time.
Also available is the BD28 Block Digestion System which accommodates 28 x 250 mL glass tubes.
The most common digestions include those for total Kjeldahl nitrogen, total Kjeldahl phosphorus, COD, total metals and mercury. Major sample types include all types of waters, sludges, soils and plants.
The XY2 and XY3 Samplers are high capacity random access samplers suitable for high work loads.
The XY2 holds 180 sample cups (0.5 mL or 2 mL) or 120 cups (4 mL or 5 mL) in 2 removable racks. The XY3 holds 270 sample cups (0.5 mL or 2 mL) or 180 cups (4 mL or 5 mL) in 3 removeable racks.
Features include:
* Racks for different sample tubes. * User-defined special sample racks. * Separate rack for calibration and quality control standards. * Sampler can access any cup at any time, enabling duplicate sampling and automatic repeats of off-scale or carryover affected samples. * Calibration and quality control standards can be taken from the same cup as often as required. * Constant inter-sample air bubble size at any cup position. * Programmable speed. * Stainless steel, sleeved and PEEK sample probes for all sample types including acidic samples.
Since the AutoAnalyzer 3 was introduced in 1997, more than 2,500 colorimeter channels have been installed. During that time the experience gained by the Bran+Luebbe R&D and Applications teams and improvements in technology have enabled the performance to be improved, and the result of these improvements is the AA3 High Resolution Digital Colorimeter.
Lowerdetection limits
The AA3 unit was already the highest sensitivity CFA colorimeter available. When using the HR AA3 for ultra low-level methods, the lower baseline drift, higher signal-to-noise ratio and new longer flowcells will help to reduce method detection limits still further, maintaining and strengthening the AA3's position as the world's most sensitive CFA analyzer.
Easier to install and use The new electronics incorporate a USB connection and a plug-and-play chip with an individual number so that Windows automatically recognises and uniquely identifies each colorimeter. Together with the new hardware comes a new version of AACE which downloads the colorimeter software into Flash memory. This is indefinitely stable in normal use, so routine downloading is eliminated and is only necessary after a software version change.
AutoAnalyzer Control and Evaluation Software, AACE, is SEAL Analyticals Windows software designed to run all SEAL Segmented Flow Analyzers. Designed by Scientists worldwide, AACE is written and supported by SEAL Analytical's team of programmers. Suitable for large and small systems, AACE makes analysis faster and easier.
Easy to Learn, Easy to Use !
The latest version of AACE , Ver 6.04 and Ver 6.04 GLP, was released January 2008.
AACE 6.04 runs on Windows XP and Vista. Contact SEAL for upgrade information.
